The stories you get each day are chosen because we think each item we cover is something worth telling you about. We don’t take payment to write about anything, and we won’t, ever. So how do we make money when the subscription is free? We sell ads. The banners to the right of each day’s story are paid ads, as are the occasional emails you get from us with the subject line “Lei Chic Sponsored Edition.” We’ll always clearly mark advertising so you know what is paid and what is editorial.
