Maui boutique Mahina opens first Oahu location

The Valley Isle’s latest Oahu import? Mahina Boutique, the go-to shop of Maui’s stylish set (with three locations in Paia, Kihei and Lahaina) just opened its first Honolulu store in Waikiki.

The new shop has the same laid-back sensibility of its hometown predecessors with fashions that are as easy on the wallet as they are on the eyes—average prices range around $40 to $50.

Along with Mahina staples like comfy Mi Rena floral print and tie-dye camis, super-soft S&S shawl cardigans, stretchy bandeau tops, and drapey deep-scoop tees, the racks boast pieces from hard-to-find labels, like embroidered Ya Los Angeles shift dresses, jewel tone Green Ville racerback tunics, Akulani graphic-print jumpers, and denim from Nissi Jeans, Machine Denim and Miss Me.

And there’s a ton of affordable accessories, from cork wedges and flat sandals to trendy faux-leather bags to a tightly edited collection of costume jewelry—sweet little sparrow rings, studded wooden bangles and pendant necklaces strung with stone clusters, owls and trees.
