Split in Two
What: Split Obsession, theHawai'i Kai urban-chic fashion and hip toy emporium opens a second location at Ala Moana Center.

State of the Art
What: Be inspired by more than 200 life-sized charcoal drawings on cotton rag paper by Belgian artist Rinus Van de Velde in his first solo exhibition outside of Europe. Titled RVDV: HI, the show is presented by Interisland Terminal, a new non-profit that aims to bring exhibits to Hawai'i year-round.

What: Learn about clean energy and companies in Hawai'i (including food vendors!) that are doing business in eco-friendly and sustainable ways at the Blue Planet Foundation's Hawai'i Powered fest. Bring two incandescent lighbulbs and trade them in for two CFLs.

It's Raining Men
What: Place a bid to win a date with one of 20 hot firefighters or lifeguards at the 7th Annual Burning Down the House auction. A portion of the proceeds go to fight breast cancer. Drink specials all night. Limited space, so get there early.
