Lei Chic’s guide to the weekend’s best events. Otto Focus What: Rock musician and single-name cheesecake baker Otto opens his own dessert shop this weekend in Chinatown. His Otto Cakes, which are served in coffee shops and cafes around town, have earned him a sort of cult following. The cake comes in 86 flavors (Otto is the bassist for band The 86 List) including Key Lime, Neapolitan, Chocolate Chocolate Chip and the original, plain New York cheesecake. When: Grand opening party Friday, 5 p.m. Where: 1160 Smith St. (between Beretania and Pauahi Streets), Chinatown. Details: Free entry.
